Texas Trains is a family owned and operated business in northern Texas with over 30 years experience buying and selling trains and train collections. We are Ron and Lisa Sherwinski and we've traveled all over the country buying collections of all types and sizes. We are not a big warehouse operation with lots of full or part-time employees but we have worked for years in the toy train and hobby industry...and we know a LOT about the train business.

What we do is pretty simple. We buy your entire collection right there (see Selling Your Trains), load it up, take it all back home and sort and inspect everything at our shop in North Texas. We clean and repair if necessary then create our sales on eBay. We sell most often through "Buy It Now" listings in our eBay Store and periodically with eBay Auction listings. We also save some items for local train shows and we occasionally sell to individual collectors.
Sorry, but one thing we DO NOT have is a retail business or store front. Nothing is open to the public. Nor do we try to operate our own auction site. As we said, we like to keep it simple.

Just wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU for the great experience that I had with your company, in the process of selling my trains. I received the best price for my Lionel Train Collection compared to six other bids that I received. They came out to my home and packed the items and gave me a bank check that when I cashed it at the bank, the funds were available immediately. In addition, in good faith, that they wanted my collection, they sent me a check for $500.00 to hold my collection for them.

They advertise that they will SHOW UP, PACK UP AND PAY UP and that is exactly what they do. Everything went as scheduled. They arrived on time and everything went as planned.
